1. Incorrect PIN Code One of the most common issues is entering the wrong PIN. After three unsuccessful attempts, your Ledger device will lock and require a factory reset. Always double-check your PIN before entering it.
2. Device Not Detected If Ledger Live doesn’t recognize your device, try using a different USB cable or port. Ensure that your device is turned on and properly connected. For Bluetooth devices, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
3. Outdated Software Using an outdated version of Ledger Live can lead to compatibility issues. Check for updates regularly by going to the settings menu within the app. Keeping your app updated ensures you have the latest security features.
4. Firewall or Antivirus Issues Sometimes, security software may block Ledger Live from functioning correctly. Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software to see if this resolves the issue. If it does, add Ledger Live as an exception.
